Commenting Review Week

Commenting is probably my least favorite part of this class. I say that, but receiving comments has been very helpful to me. It helps me be able to know what parts of my writing that people enjoy, and what parts of my writing I need to work on. Overall I like it because I know that other people are enjoying my works of art. I also like that I get to read what other people have been writing about in class.

I need to work on my commenting also. I have trouble telling people that they need to work on certain parts of their writing. I am too nice and just want to leave comments about what they did write. If I learn to leave more comments that contain constructive criticism, then I believe next semester will be much better.

Writing Review Week

Although I’ve enjoyed doing reading diaries, the storytelling has been my favorite part about this class. It really gives me a great opportunity to be creative. For my inspiration, I usually pick one of my favorite stories I read that week to rewrite. I try to be as random and creative as possible when writing my stories because that is what this class is all about. It gives you a great opportunity to write about anything you want.

My favorite story I wrote this semester was about the ghost-brahman. It was a very fun and exciting story for me to write and it was my best one in my opinion. I look forward to writing many more stories like this for the rest of the semester. I added the picture of the Ghostbusters symbol to represent my ghost-brahman story.

Reading Review Week

So far I have really enjoyed doing my reading diary every week. It has been an overall great experience and I have gotten a great opportunity to read about many different cultures.

My favorite unit so far has been Aesop’s fables in Week 3. I liked it because it was stories of many different animals, and animals are one of my favorite parts about mythology. This is because in mythology, animals can talk and do things unimaginable. I picked the image of a fox for this post to represent my favorite unit.

Throughout the reading diaries, I have found many different ways to do them. I began by writing a short review of every single story in the unit. I liked doing this for a while, but then I decided to make a change. Now, I just write a review of my favorite stories, and nothing else. Overall I think it is a better method.
